In honor of World Bee Day, The Bee Conservancy will bee present at the Staten Island Zoo, to talk to you about all things pollinators and bee conservation!

For their Conservation Celebration: Let Love Bloom Event the zoo will be debuting a garden that was created in partnership with the Pride Center of Staten Island and TBC will host our signature “Hive Dive” demonstration. 

Led by one of our staff beekeepers, the dive will give an up close and personal view of colony life in TBC’s Bee Sanctuary at Staten Island Zoo.

More About This Event 

• This program is free with admission to zoo (entry fees may apply). 
• This is an outdoor event, please wear comfortable attire and shoes. 
• The zoo is open rain or shine, thus a rain date is not currently scheduled for this.
